Varian Medical Systems supplies informatics software for managing comprehensive cancer clinics, radiotherapy centers, and medical oncology practices.

 

Currently managing and evolving the visual language for applications of the Varian oncology software ecosystem, and produce a wide variety of design artifacts from interaction models and pixel perfect designs to effectively communicate design.

Refining and managing the design process through the design system and enhancing the UI component libraries.

 

Working closely with researchers to plan research activities and uncover unmet needs and constantly validate that the design solutions meet all safety requirements.

Led the mobile/tablet visual initiative from conception through store- ready applications. I defined the existing products to reflect the branding and in enhancing the visual messaging. Includes creating object detail libraries for consistency, defining a visual style guide for all products.
 

I worked with the development team, product managers and UX team members to ensure that visual/interaction design adheres to current brand principles successfully. Also rapid visual prototyping with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Omnigraffle,  Photoshop, sticky notes, etc. was used.
